We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Full Stack Engineer to join Top Hat
Engineering's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience
in frontend development to drive innovation and customer satisfaction in our cutting-edge
fulfillment and distribution center technologies. This role involves working collaboratively
with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and robust software applications that
enhance the customer experience.

What you will be doing
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring ideas from concept to reality.
● Develop robust and scalable software applications to support a wide variety of
customers. Integrate conveyor controls solutions, automated material handling
equipment, and autonomous vehicles with various hardware platforms.
● Provide technical expertise in software design, development, and deployment.
● Perform on-site commissioning and testing support when required.
● Break down design into manageable development tasks and maintain project
schedules. Perform design and code reviews with peers.
● Provide 24/7 remote support when required.
● Mentor and train less experienced engineers.
Requirements & QualificationsTo excel in this role, you should possess:● Strong proficiency in React (versions 16, 17, 18) and JavaScript.
● Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS for building modern web applications.
● Experience with other frontend frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js.
● Proficiency in Node.js for building full-scale applications and developing API
services.
● Experience with front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Gulp.
● Proficiency in unit testing frameworks or libraries such as Jest or Mocha.
● Database skills: MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Postgres.
● Experience with AWS.
● Full understanding of computer networking concepts and architecture.
● Experience with web performance optimization techniques such as lazy loading and code splitting.
Nice to have skills - Mobile-first design and responsive web design experience.
- Experience with additional modern frontend frameworks or libraries.
- Experience with serverless architecture on cloud platforms.
Soft skills - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct meetings and presentations with associates from all levels of management.
