Position: Node.js Developer
Experience Level: Minimum 5 years of coding experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and databases, At least 1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript, Proven experience in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring security

Technical Skills

• Excellent knowledge of developing scalable and highly available RESTful APIs using Node.js technologies
• Practical experience with GraphQL
• Well-versed in CI/CD principles with hands-on involvement in troubleshooting issues in a distributed services ecosystem
• Understanding of containerization, with experience in Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with API gateway integrations, such as 3Scale
• Knowledge of Single Sign-On or token-based authentication methods (REST, JWT, OAuth)
• Expert-level knowledge of task/message queues, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka

Functional Skills

• Experience in adhering to coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices
• Preferred experience in Banking, Financial, and Fintech sectors within an enterprise environment
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Ensure quality in technical and application architecture and design across systems within the organization
• Effectively research and benchmark technologies against best-in-class industry standards

Soft Skills

• Ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations to enhance productivity and effectiveness through shared knowledge and experience
• Self-motivated and a proactive individual, capable of driving initiatives without supervision while collaborating effectively with teams across the organization
• Strong interpersonal and soft skills to interact with and present ideas to senior and executive management

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
