Project - the aim you'll have

We're looking for a skilled Senior Full-stack Node.js Engineer to join our team and work with one of our inspiring US clients, a start-up developing an innovative platform for online speech therapy from the comfort of the patient’s home.

Qualifications

Expectations - the experience you need

• 5+ years of experience writing applications as a developer. 
• 3+ years of experience with Node.js. 
• Experience in Javascript (React.js). 
• Professional experience with relational and non-relational database technologies like MongoDB, MySQL, Postgres, and DynamoDB.  
• Experience deploying and maintaining cloud-based web applications (AWS preferred). 
• Automated-testing of APIs. 
• Proven knowledge of RESTful API design and use. 
• Experience with microservice architecture. 

What you will do

• Work directly with a product manager and a designer to develop new product features. 
• Estimate overall timelines, risks, and requirements for development tasks. 
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.  
• Add to and maintain API documentation. 
• Analyze and tune application performance with a focus on efficiency throughout. 
• Be highly organized and self-driven to collaborate effectively with an all-remote team. 
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
