Department Overview

Callyo - we build innovative meaningful tools within reach of all in law enforcement to combat crimes such as human trafficking and child exploitation. Job Description

  • Build audio and live-streaming video applications using telephony APIs and WebRTC

  • Build high-quality, testable applications

  • Build applications on top of state of the art AWS and/or Azure infrastructure

  • Work with a team to thoroughly plan and actualize challenging new features and product development

  • Work on a product with a large install base of over 1 in 5 officers in North America that rely on your app to serve their communities each day.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science (or equivalent degree)

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Demonstrate strong software development fundamentals

  • Have strong experience with Javascript, Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS and React

  • Prioritize and stay current with industry-standard security practices

  • Have prior experience with web and server-side development

  • Demonstrate knowledge of relational database design and usage

  • Be an avid learner and show passion for your craft

  • Have a great personality and enjoy working as part of a team

  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure will be a plus
