About Corporate Processes & Information Technology organization (CPIT)

The Corporate Processes & Information Technology organization (CPIT) is responsible for evolving SAP’s IT strategy and executing on it. We are applying our expertise in technology and business processes by driving the internal adoption of standard applications that support end-users in the execution and re-engineering of their processes in all lines of business, always putting a strong focus on end-user centricity. It is our objective to accelerate co-innovation with development and extend the use of SAP standard products within SAP, shifting the focus from maintaining a heavily customized environment to optimizing our processes on top of standard services.

By combining technological understanding with business know how and using our own innovative solutions as earliest adopter, we ensure zero distance between business and technology and act as ultimate proof point in SAP’s transition to a cloud company.
Within the CPIT, the
Customer & Partner unit is responsible for both, laying the E2E foundation across all Customer & Partner units as well as enabling continuous integration of SAP’s acquired cloud lines of business.

The Senior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. This role involves mentoring junior developers, leading projects, and ensuring that coding standards and best practices are followed. The Senior Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust software solutions that meet business requirements.

Your Role

You will be an integral part of the Entitlement Management (EMS) Team within SAP IT.

At Entitlement Management Team we provide transparency on the products & services committed to our customers, across the complete order to fulfillment process, covering all products and services SAP and its partner offers via SAP to increase the efficiency and satisfaction of our customers & colleagues.

You will be a:

  • Senior Developer taking over sophisticated development and operations tasks:
    • modification-free configuration and extensions of the CRM and SOM standard in ABAP within WebClient UI, 1Order, BOL/GenIL, Business Transaction Maintenance Framework (BTMF)
    • modification-free configuration and rule set programming within the EMS in JavaScript
    • creation of integration content on Cloud Integration
    • consulting the operations team
  • Technical expert and consultant for team members in
    • Development guidelines
    • Product and quality standards
    • Compliance standards
    • Security standards
  • Contact person towards
    • Architects and developers in other areas
    • Standard development teams, especially EMS
    • Internal administrative bodies like Security, Enterprise Architecture, Data Protection and Privacy, Compliance
    • Business and IT owners

Role Requirements

  • Tools and Technologies:
    • Mandatory: ABAP skills
      • preferably with SAP CRM and/or S/4 SOM knowledge
    • Desired: experience with integration platforms, ideally SAP Cloud Integration
      • JavaScript / ECMA Script
      • XSLT
    • Desired: experience with SAP Entitlement Management (EMS)
      • JavaScript / ECMA Script
  • Skills:
    • Understanding of design of standard-worth software
