We are expanding our development team in the UK and looking for a skilled Senior Node.js/TypeScript Developer. This role is ideal for someone with a strong back-end focus but who also has some front-end experience. You will be instrumental in building low-latency, highly secure applications and collaborating with teams to deliver robust solutions.

Salary range: 45-60K£

Responsibilities:

• Build and optimize low-latency, high-security applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for both internal and external services.
• Implement robust security protocols such as JWT, OAuth, and encryption to safeguard data.
• Ensure applications are optimized for performance and can handle high traffic with minimal latency.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and contribute to UI/UX development using React, Angular, or similar frameworks as needed.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, including test-driven development (TDD) and CI/CD pipelines.

What we're looking for in our applicants: 

• Advanced experience in Node.js and TypeScript for back-end development.
• Proven expertise in building low-latency, scalable systems.
• Strong knowledge of application security protocols (JWT, OAuth, encryption).
• Experience with API development (RESTful and GraphQL).
• Working knowledge of front-end development with frameworks like React or Angular.
• Proficient with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
