Job Description

As a Backend Developer, you will join an international team of engineers responsible for developing, testing, and deploying advanced applications for a leading industry client. You should be proficient in backend development using NestJS or Node.js. Ideally, you have full-stack experience and can handle end-to-end feature delivery in multi-cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Nest.JS or Node.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including international colleagues, to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Implement new application features
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
• Implement and manage automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Participate in the deployment process and ensure applications are smoothly transitioned to production environments
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Take broader responsibility beyond core skills, contributing to various aspects of the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Proven 3+ years of experience as a Web Application Developer
• Proficiency in NestJS or Node.js
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, preferably multi-cloud experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript language
• Experience with modern web application architectures and design patterns
• Knowledge of full-stack development is a plus
• Knowledge of CI/CD and test automation solutions is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, strong self-leadership
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work beyond core skills and take broader responsibility for project tasks in a cross-functional team
