What you will do:

As a Backend Developer focused on Node.js at NEXONTIS, you will design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements. You'll optimize backend performance, ensure security and data integrity, write clean and efficient code, and troubleshoot issues to maintain a seamless user experience. Staying current with emerging technologies and best practices, you'll participate in code reviews and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, driving the backend architecture of our modern solutions

What technology stack you will use:

• JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js: NestJS, TypeORM, Express.js; Jest)
• SAP Hana DB
• SAP Cloud Platform (SAP BTP)
• Cloud Foundry, K8S, Docker

What we are looking for:

• Very strong skills with modern JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js: NestJS, Express.js)
• Commercial experience in web development (Node.js / Express) 4+ years
• Experience with popular public cloud services (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with relational databases, ORMs
• Familiarity with Docker
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
• Independent individual focused on getting things done

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Jest / other testing libraries
• SAP Cloud Platform (SAP BTP), Cloud Foundry, K8S
• Knowledge of OData
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines setup
• Knowledge of Design Patterns / Best Practices
