We have a well-established GDK with a mature frontend game framework written in Typescript and a comprehensive suite of tools designed to optimise the game development processes.

We are looking for a front-end Technical Architect to play a pivotal role in refining and enhancing our framework and tooling with a primary focus on maximising game development speed and efficiency while maintaining quality and scalability across all studios.

You will collaborate closely with the architects and heads of Studios to shape the future roadmap. In addition, you'll play a key role in defining technical solutions for new features and tools, overseeing their development and adoption across studios.

You will provide essential technical support to studios, resolving technical challenges and ensuring they do not become blocked and are able to work effectively.

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day support to game studios

• Design technical solutions for new features and requirements

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the GDK frontend framework

• Identify areas that can be improved to increase quality and efficiency 

• Ensure all features are documented and communicated effectively to Studios

• Collaborate with artists and technical artists to identify areas of improvement 

• Work closely with product owners and producers to define new features, aligning technical solutions with business objectives

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience with mobile web development essential

• Strong JavaScript & TypeScript experience along with related technologies

• Strong experience with NPM, Jest, Webpack and other build tools

• CI/CD experience essential, ideally with Gitlab CI pipelines

• Good understanding of web optimisation techniques

• Good documentation skills

• Experience using PixiJS desirable

• Understanding of localisation and jurisdiction requirements desirable

• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React and Angular desirable
