The Role - As a Senior Software Development Engineer in the Content team, you will be required to use your expertise with NodeJs & Javascript programming to write robust and scalable code. We are looking for an expert NodeJs developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver, detail-oriented, with a can-do attitude and should be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Mandatory skill set:

• An expert problem solver, passionate about solving complex technology challenges
• Masters or Bachelor’s in computer science or a related subject.
• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience working with Web Technologies and Software Development related to platforms using javascript, Node Js, Docker etc.
• In depth knowledge of javascript and its usage in cookie generation and web session management. 
• Knowledge and understanding of concepts relating Website security, user authentication, browser fingerprint, SSL fingerprint 
• Good understanding of network protocol
• Experience in developing, integrating and testing using Rest APIs.
• Strong fundamentals in Algorithms, OOPs and Data Structure.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
• Expertise with Chrome debugger/Postman/Fiddler/Swagger/Charles proxy
• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
• Well versed with source control tools GIT.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Ability to understand core Javascript and analyze patterns
• Able to understand scripts fetched from servers and decrypt
• Troubleshoot problems with 3rd party integrations & provide solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Collaborate with team members in a multi-functional product team
• Specializes in gathering and analyzing information related to web and data integration, real-time interactions, and customer use cases

Preferred skill set:

• Knowledge and experience with TypeScript and GoLang would be an added advantage.
• Agile development experience.
• Understanding of Elastic tools like Kibana/Grafana etc would be an added advantage.
• Experience with GCP/Azure/AWS is a plus
• Experience in a small team handling while working as an individual contributor
• Experience with code review tools like SonarQube
• Knowledge of advanced security scripts like Akamai will be an advantage.
• Shortlisted candidates will be part of multi geography team and will be collaborating with team members based out of Canada
