Segen is a leading global wholesale distributor of solar PV, energy storage systems, electric vehicle charging and other associated components. Founded in 2005 in the UK, they have grown rapidly since. The company has grown along with the industry; its UK headquarters are complemented by subsidiaries in Europe and South Africa. Segen is the only distributor in the UK to integrate OpenSolar’s world-class design software and MCS partnership and the ONLY distributor of Tesla Powerwall.
Develop new features within the project to enhance its capabilities.
Write code that is both reusable and testable.
Actively participate in code reviews, both as the reviewer and reviewee.
Test your implemented code within the development environment.
Contribute to the grooming and estimation processes.
Demonstrate proactiveness in generating innovative ideas to enhance the product.
A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
Proven expertise in React, TypeScript, and state management.
Proficiency in working with REST APIs.
Experience with D3.js, Next.js.
Git branching strategies: Git Flow, Trunk-Based, and so on.
Exceptional analytical and time management skills.
Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency at least.
Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (including Flexbox and Grid) .
Confident knowledge of React 16+ and its advanced features, including Hooks, Context API, Code-Splitting, Error Boundary, and Re-render optimization.
An agile mindset and experience with methodologies like Scrum or other agile approaches.
