Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team remotely. 
Our client is a leading cloud contact center platform offering advanced tools for call routing, analytics, and automation. The platform enhances customer service, increases efficiency, and supports seamless omnichannel interactions, empowering businesses to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
This project involves the development of a new contact center solution for a global enterprise. The work includes creating enhancements and new features for the existing voice platform within a VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using JavaScript and Node.js.
  • Implement and optimize server-side logic to ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests.
  • Develop voice over IP solutions using both SIP and WebRTC in a VDI environment.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for software architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex VOIP issues using audio media analysis tools
  • Address technical issues and system failures, developing solutions to improve stability and performance.
  • Understand performance and scalability principles and apply them when developing software.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineering leaders, and test engineers.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industry experience in software development and troubleshooting VOIP systems.
  • Hands-on experience writing backend code in JavaScript, and Node.js.
  • Good understanding of VOIP protocols like SIP, RTP, RTCP, WebRTC, and ROAP.
  • Experience in troubleshooting tools, audio media analysis, and good debugging skills. 
  • Experience working on complex problems and systems.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum team.
  • Positive attitude with a strong sense of ownership.  
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent /above) in a relevant discipline.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with virtual environments like Citrix and VMware.
  • Familiar with C++/C.
  • Experience with Contact Centre, IVR, Virtual Agents, and telecommunications service providers is advantageous.
