Salary: Starting Salary is £30,296 (Level one) rising to £33,024 (Level 4) per annum (pro rata for part time)

About the Role
REACT officers are a multi-disciplined team of officers inclusive of an SCEO who work across the city in a peripatetic, dynamic and flexible manner, with a can do attitude, tackling inconsiderate and illegal parking issues, anti-social behaviour and environmental crime. The team is innovative in terms of developing skills which maximise service delivery, contributing to a safer and cleaner Nottingham. Acting as capable guardians and providing a uniformed reassuring presence to the city.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
• A professional, calm and positive manner
• An ability to be sensitive but remain objective
• Effective communication and listening skills
• Ability to work shifts and be flexible
• The confidence to tackle inappropriate behaviours
• The ability to work in a team, but equally under your own initiative
• The skills to deal with people from different religious, social backgrounds, ages and levels of education
• Good written skills and attention to detail
• An understanding of the confidential nature of your work
• Ability to work out of doors in varying weather conditions on solo patrol as directed
• A Full clean driving licence
- A DBS basic check for a regulated activity is required for this post..
