Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Tech Lead for mobile app to enhance our team and work on customer-facing mobile apps. By joining us, you'll directly support Vattenfall’s mission to achieve fossil-free living within one generation and help customers make sustainable choices. You'll develop and implement top-notch technical solutions, continuously improving the product. You'll also promote modern agile methodologies and help establish strong engineering standards within your team and our developer communities.  

 You will become part of Customer IT. Customer IT develops and operates specialized IT solutions closely together with business colleagues to create value for our customers. Customer IT is set up locally, in Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, and Poland. Customer IT Nordics is divided into four teams located in Sweden. In this role you must be self-motivated, proactive, and analytical. You feel personally committed to achieving the team's goals and success.  

Finally, you are a person who wants to develop colleagues by proactively coaching and supporting them.  

 Your tasks and responsibilities   

  • Enable the best possible technical solution to be implemented from an end-to-end customer experience perspective  
  • Use your in-depth knowledge about the product's technical setup and usage of a product to continuously develop, iterate, and deliver on product improvements together with your peers and Product Owner  
  • Ensure that solutions are robust and sustainable  
  • Research and suggest innovative mobile solutions, applications, and protocols  
  • Culture first-rate development practices to continuously ship high-quality features and improvements   
  • You use, advocate, and spread modern agile software development methodologies and help develop good standard engineering practices in your team and our developer communities 

Qualifications

  • Experience (+ 10 years) of: React Native, Typescript, Android, and iOS hybrid application frameworks, AzureDevOps, Git, Gitflow, and IT architecture knowledge  
  • Fluent in English in writing and verbally  
  • Preferable fluent in Swedish in writing and verbally  
  • Familiarity with developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines  
  • Experience with multi-platform hybrid mobile development  
  • Experience working with REST APIs and testing tools  
  • You have a University degree in Information Technology and Engineering
