The Security Experience team is a high-impact global group within the Salesforce Security org building state-of-the-art solutions for multiple security functions. We build, maintain and own our services end-to-end as a team, while working with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Salesforce Platform Developer (level based on experience) to build next-gen security web-applications for our developer platforms, that is used by over 25,000 engineers to boost productivity. In this position, you will drive projects end-to-end, collaborate on product requirements with Product Managers, architect and implement technical solutions, and ensure continued success after deployment. You will lead and participate in design reviews, architecture and strategic road-map discussions. You write pragmatic code and strive for simplicity, while bringing technical insights into how to refine and improve the system, ultimately ensuring performance, stability, and an exceptional end user experience.

Here’s what you’ll do

* Have a strong sense of ownership for everything that you work on
* Own, develop, deliver & maintain web applications on Salesforce Platforms (Apex, LWC, Aura and Visualforce) 
* Detailed reviews of design, architecture, and code produced by other engineers
* Collaborate with product, operations, leadership and other engineering teams on ideation, prototyping, and planning
* Operate in an Agile development environment, including participating in daily scrums
* Motivate and champion a strong team culture
* Adapt to change quickly and eagerly: changing requirements, changing priorities, changing strategies

Here’s what you’ll need

Required Experience/Skills 

* 4+ years of experience programming on the Salesforce platform (Apex, LWC, Aura and Visualforce) 
* Expert knowledge with Lightning Experience, Process Builders, Analytics, App Builder, Flows, Triggers, Reports
* Experience with one or more Salesforce API’s (REST, Bulk, SOAP, Platform Events, Streaming etc) 
* 2+ years of experience with HTML, Javascript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
* Experience building LWC components 
* Deep understanding of web standards & technologies (ex. HTTP, REST and JSON).
* Familiarity with unit and end to end testing
* Experience with relational database languages (SQL or SOQL) and data modeling design
* Good understanding of Object Oriented design patterns such as MVC
* Experience troubleshooting & debugging web application errors through the use of tools such as Chrome Dev Tools, Splunk etc.
* Experience working in agile development teams and the associated tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Managed releases, etc.)
* Ability to communicate and collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional team members located globally
* Willingness to take ownership of project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

Desired Skills/Experience

* Experience with Salesforce DX, Salesforce Wave Analytics, Salesforce developer toolkit including VSCode, and data migration tools like data loader, workbench, etc.

* Experience deploying and operating infrastructure at scale with public cloud provider(s) like AWS

* Passion for current trends related to frontend, web performance, security, UI design and web design
* Comfortable working on a team that experiments with its processes and practices as well as evolving them when necessary
* Knowledge of NodeJS, ExpressJS, JS frameworks such as React/Redux/etc, microservices technologies, CI/CD methodologies and workflows such as Spinnaker, Terraform etc would be a big plus, but not required
* Security domain knowledge is a plus but not expected.
