Our Engineering Team

Our Engineering team builds, maintains, and improve the software that our clients rely on. Our work ensures that Board Intelligence product suite is efficient, scalable, and capable of adapting to changing customer needs. 

This role is an on-site position based in our Ebene office.

The Role

You're a skilled React Engineer is needed to build engaging and high-performance single-page applications. You'll collaborate closely with designers and other engineers, leveraging your expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and ideally Java/Spring, to deliver robust and user-friendly features. Experience with API design, CI/CD, and a commitment to clean code and testing are highly valued.

What will you be responsible for?

• Transform business need into technical design, collaborate with stakeholder and understand trade-off.
• Conduct thorough code review, document best practice, and ensure code quality through unit and integration test.
• Take ownership of code, proactively address bug, and contribute to project planning with realistic estimate.
• Self-motivate with a drive for continuous improvement, an aptitude for new tool, and strong problem-solving skill.
• Communicate effectively across diverse team, foster collaboration, learning, and a positive engineering culture.
• Show attention to detail in both visual and functional aspect of requirement.
• Contribute to technical excellence, identify opportunity for improvement, and can lead challenging project, developing team member.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone that has a hunger to change our working environment for the better, driving performance from our people and protecting our culture and values to make sure we remain a caring, entrepreneurial and client-first workplace.  

We’re open-minded on the background someone may have coming into this role, but things that could help a candidate to be successful would be: 

• Expert-level knowledge of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and strong familiarity with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Proven track record building complex, interactive Single Page Applications (SPAs) with substantial client-side logic.
• Experience working closely with UI/UX designers, a strong understanding of Design Systems (both implementation and usage), and a commitment to accessibility. Ability to break down designs effectively.
• Solid grasp of API design (RESTful), experience with service-oriented architectures, and ideally exposure to container orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong advocate for Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), test-driven development (TDD), and writing clean, well-structured code. Client-ready communication skills are a plus.
