The Frontend Team Leader is a key function in NIQ Activate R&D organization, with responsibility for leading a team of S/W engineers while building new
product solutions for our rapidly expanding customer base, working with top client & server technologies in an open, collaborative and innovative environment. The team leads must be hands-on splitting his/her time between 50% team lead work such as review, planning, and team management, and 50% as S/W engineer.
As a Manager you will be building and leading a dedicated team of S/W engineers focused on execution & delivery.
Monitor the team's performance and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments and peers to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
Manage team schedules and workload distribution to ensure adequate coverage and effective utilization of resources.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementing micro-services from design to production.
  • frontend design and implementation
  • Take ownership of development, maintenance, testing strategy, design discussions, and operations of the team, with containerized API services
  • Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of new product features/components

Qualifications

  • Must have a B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent.
  • Must have 10+ years as a front-end developer with at least 2 years of experience in team management.
  • Experience and knowledge of technologies: React, Typescript, Javascript
  • Experience with large-scale SQL / NoSQL databases.
  • Fluent with Relational databases.
  • Good problem-solving and analysis abilities
  • Good to have experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes, and Cloud environments
  • Experience working in agile methodologies and sprint planning
