For Calix ETS team, we are recruiting an engineering intern to participate in projects of Software Development and Operation.

Calix ETS (Engineering Tools and Service) team provides services for internal software development, including the management and maintenance of various development and configuration management tools such as Git, Bamboo, Jira, Bitbucket, as well as the development of compilation scripts and the operation and maintenance of virtual machines (VMware/Docker, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Work with development team to setup project in IDE like VSCode and Eclipse.

• Integration with git/bitbucket/bamboo engineer tools.

• Integration with code scanning tools to finish lint/security check in IDE.

• Work with SCM team to optimize the build system, bring up load balanced build farm.

Qualifications

• Graduate in 2025 or 2026, Bachelor or Master's degree

• Major in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields

• Available for 3-5 days per week, lasting for 6 months or longer

• Experience on Linux operating system. 

• Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, PHP or bash. 

• Knowledge of Software Compile

• Strong written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experiences on Coding, such as JavaScript, PHP, Shell etc.

• Experiences on web development using PHP/JavaScript/Python

• Experiences on git tool

• Experiences on Docker
