Job responsibilities
- Contribute to the end-to-end development of React Native mobile apps for the Android and iOS operating systems for a new venture, leveraging the latest technologies and the best industry practices.
- Participate in the implementation of the app, you will be immersed in the design and architecture processes around it.
- Create robust, reusable design system components
- Build and ship new features to create a functional and engaging experience that will delight our users
- Review, write and test code, being directly involved in all steps of the process.
- Build for resilience and reliability, ensuring consideration for ongoing maintenance requirements
- Provide feedback to teammates to build a strong engineering culture and bring new perspectives to the engineering team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Commercial React Native experience with a released to public app
- Experience in a full TypeScript codebase
- Interest in writing clean, testable, high-quality code and designing highly scalable systems in production
- Experience with mobile application development and deployment for Android/iOS operating systems.
- Basic understanding of API architectural patterns
- Understanding and interest in writing tests across different levels
- Familiarity with build pipelines and tools
