Job Description

ARHS Group is looking for a JavaScript/Web Developer for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the Belgian health insurance sector. The goal is to deliver various projects/environments in which the client’s business can set up the websites according to the determined guidelines.

Context

• Setup and management of the CMS (Content Management System) Drupal Enterprise in which the various websites will be built.
• The pure content on the websites is managed by Content Managers from business; the central management of the CMS itself (set-up of new environments, access management, design, ...) is the responsibility of the Web team.
• With the colleagues from design, you are guardians of the corporate identity.
• Working in an Agile approach.

Role & responsibilities

• Setting up the structure of new websites in the CMS, together with the internal customer, to get a clear picture of their business requirements.
• Contributing to the further transfer of existing websites to the CMS.
• Developing new pages depending on the business requirements.
• Responsible for the implementation of the requirements (domains, environments, etc.)
• Working closely with the business, solution architect and designers/developers/analyst/testers so that the functionalities are delivered correctly using scrum methodology to develop the solution.
• Building and developing projects and functionalities of the various websites.
• Working closely with the marketing department to quickly implement/support new actions.
• Central management of the CMS that is set up in AWS.

  • MEAN applications are embedded in the CMS

Qualifications

Your profile

• Affinity/experience with marketing projects.
• Critical, as well as good analytical and synthesis skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
• You have a sense of quality, accuracy and have a no-nonsense mentality
• Customer-oriented, result-oriented, strong communication skills, listening skills and the necessary enthusiasm and drive.
• Result-oriented, proactive, dynamic & stress-resistant
• Good knowledge of Dutch & French
• Able to communicate efficiently with the various stakeholders (business/functional analysts, solution architect) so that everyone understands the priorities of the tasks perfectly.

Technical skills

• Thorough knowledge of Drupal Enterprise and AWS
• Experience with Scrum as an Agile methodology
• Capable of
  • ensuring that environments for website development are set up in a timely manner and according to the client’s standards (security & design).
  • coordinating the development of the website (technical aspect) from A to Z; set-up, security, access management, design, development, go-live, ...
  • making technical improvement proposals and defending them to the solution architect.
  • analyzing integrations with other parties and systems.
  • working out the technical design based on a functional analysis.
