About the Position

As a JavaScript engineer focused on integrations, you’ll be helping our customers improve the search experiences of their websites and mobile apps by integrating with our services. Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and testing new features for our open source UI and REST client libraries
  • Designing and deploying interactive dashboards and alerts for monitoring customer integrations
  • Engaging with clients to address technical inquiries regarding our services
  • Assisting customers in integrating our JavaScript UI and REST client libraries into their existing codebases
  • Validating customer data to ensure the accuracy and quality of results generated by our services
  • Staying informed about our products and services to provide effective support and aid in triaging issues
  • Collaborating with other teams to prioritize and address customer requirements and needs

We serve billions of requests every day, and you’ve probably seen our results somewhere and used our product without knowing it. We differentiate ourselves by focusing on metrics over features, and reinventing search and discovery from the ground up as a machine learning challenge with the specific goal of improving metrics like revenue. Requirements

  • A minimum of two years professional and / or academic experience in software engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with front end optimization techniques, DOM manipulation / traversing, and using browser debugging tools
  • Experience working with server side JavaScript through Node.js and it’s build processes
  • Experience with popular modern front-end frameworks like React / Redux and jQuery
  • Experience with CSS and an eye for user experience
  • Nice to have: experience with Java, .NET, Python, Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android)
  • Able to pick up new technologies and design patterns quickly and love learning them
  • Enjoys interacting with customers and solving new problems daily as well as working closely with internal teams
  • Able to work between 10 am and 2 pm Eastern Time

Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 USD / year
