About the role

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Node Maintenance Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities at each node site for the delivery of Maintenance Support Services to the existing Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS). You will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational integrity of the system and supporting the implementation and operation of the upgraded Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System (EDHFCS).

About you

You are a meticulous and proactive technician with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to ensuring the reliability of critical communication systems. Your hands-on experience in carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance activities has honed your troubleshooting skills, allowing you to effectively identify and address system failures and reliability issues. You will have a strong understanding of the operational requirements of ACMS, transmitters, receivers, and associated control equipment, and you are committed to ensuring they always perform optimally.
