About the role
Able is seeking a Full-stack Node.js JS (React) developer who will help build a scalable and high-performing backend and participate in creating UI applications using React and related technologies. In addition, you will support the open-source services (CMS with Node.js). As an engineer, you will ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of software solutions aligned with Able's mission. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to deliver results in a consistent, sustainable way. The successful candidate will have a passion for innovation, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, and excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
What you'll do
Manage and develop backend services
Manage and improve open-source services (CMS with Node.js)
Manage the Database (PostgreSQL)
Experience in developing web-based applications
Develop UI applications (PWA) using React
Participate in architecture definitions for all backend services
Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code
Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions
Define quality guidelines and provide technical support
About you
4+ years of experience in software development ( JS Developer with Node.js and React stack )
Strong Node.js programming skills
Strong knowledge of Javascript
Experience in developing and consuming APIs
Good understanding of Databases (PostgreSQL)
Good knowledge of Web UI technologies: HTML5, CSS3, React, Typescript
Good knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
Good understanding of Git
Extensive knowledge of web stacks, libraries, and frameworks
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
Passion for innovation and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies
A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or proven work experience in this field
Focus on quality, details, pixel perfect, and meeting user needs
Strong sense of ownership
English level Intermediate or higher
