We are looking for a Frontend Engineer (VueJS) to join our efront team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Vue.js 3, Webpack, Tailwind CSS, as well as a strong understanding of web development best practices. They will be responsible for working closely with fellow developers, as well as our product and design teams to ensure that our applications are both functional and user-friendly.

Responsibilities

As a Frontend Engineer (VueJS), you will:

  • Modernize our monolithic application. Extend functionalities and create new features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into modern frontend solutions.
  • Refactor and optimize existing code written in jQuery and plain JS, integrating Webpack, Vue.js 3, Tailwind CSS.
  • Develop new frontend features and functionalities.
  • Implement responsive designs and create seamless user interfaces across multiple devices and browsers.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies, share knowledge, and contribute to the team’s growth.
  • Collaborate on UI/UX discussions, leveraging your insights and expertise to enhance the user experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role as a Frontend Engineer (VueJS), you should:

  • 2 years of proven working experience in frontend development using Webpack, Vue.js 3, Tailwind CSS, jQuery.
  • Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with a focus on writing clean and scalable code.
  • Knowledge of responsive web design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
  • Demonstrate autonomy and require minimal guidance.
  • Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Take ownership of your work and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and be a strong team player.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.

Bonus points

  • Experience modernizing monolithic applications, understanding the challenges and best practices involved.
  • Solid understanding of version control using GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Docker.
