About the project:

As a key member of the UI Libraries team, the responsibility involves introducing and facilitating the adoption of cutting-edge UI technologies, streamlining their integration across various business and development teams. This role is crucial in defining, developing, and validating engineering solutions that form the backbone of the user experience for both internal and external users.

The position plays a significant role in molding the design system and visual language, through the creation of a components library that ensures a consistent and coherent user experience across diverse platforms such as web, desktop, tablet, and smartphone applications. This library, compatible with React and meticulously tested and implemented in TypeScript, is foundational to hundreds of projects, greatly influencing the approach to user interface design.

Expertise in this area will not only push the boundaries of UI component technology but also promote a unified design philosophy that elevates user interaction and satisfaction across all digital interfaces.

Relevant Technologies and Concepts
: React, Angular, TypeScript, monorepos with Bazel, Node.js, CSS-in-JS, SSR, PWA, Accessibility (WCAG)

Required qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with some of the latest technologies to build rich web applications
  • Strong hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies such as React (mandatory), Angular, Typescript, and comfortable learning new languages
  • Experience with clean code and testing methodologies
  • Superior interpersonal, communication and organization skills
  • Ability to work on multiple project simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of analytical ability, innovation and intellectual curiosity

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Experience working in delivery driven agile SDLC covering research, design and engineering
  • Hands-on experience with PWAs, CSS-in-JS, mobile app development, accessible components and websites
  • Experience with SSR frameworks, such as NextJS or Gatsby
  • Experience with front-end build tools and testing libraries including Webpack
