Job Overview: We seek a highly skilled React & TypeScript Developer to join our Software Product Experience team within ADI’s Software and Security Group. In this role, you will be focused on building tools to enhance the experience of embedded developers working on ADI products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain a VSCode extension that enhances the embedded development experience for ADI products.
- Implement advanced web-based UIs using React and TypeScript within the VSCode extension environment.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and embedded software engineers to translate requirements into intuitive and powerful development tools.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Test and debug the VSCode extension to ensure robust functionality across different platforms and development environments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in VSCode extensions, React, and TypeScript to continuously improve the product.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users of the VSCode extension.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Industry Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in software development, with a focus on front-end technologies.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with React and TypeScript, including building and maintaining complex applications.
- Software Engineering Practices: Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and standard software engineering practices.
- Source Control: Proficient with git and collaborative development workflows.
- Development Tools: Familiarity with Visual Studio Code and its ecosystem.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate with a distributed team.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Continuous Learning: A passion for learning new technologies and improving existing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing VSCode extensions or similar IDE plugins.
- Experience with embedded software development and related tools.
- Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and ADI products.
- Experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries.
- Contributions to open-source projects, especially within the VSCode ecosystem.
