The Role

At Gapstars, our goal is to fuel growth for highly ambitious tech companies with world-class tech talent. If you are an experienced and ambitious Front-end Engineer with strong programming fundamentals and the ability to adopt new frameworks as needed we want to hear from you.
As a Front-end Engineer, you will be expected to architect, develop, and release user-facing features and ensure the quality of our product continues to serve the needs of our tens of millions of users.

What You'll Do:
● Develop dynamic user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
● Work with Webpack and Vite for efficient builds.
● Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, functional components and pages.
● Collaborate with a cross-functional team in an Agile environment.
● Utilize Tailwind CSS and Storybook to create consistent, scalable components.
● Break down complex designs into reusable, modular components.
● Maintain and contribute to our design system library.
● Be part of PR reviews

Requirements

● Expert in HTML, CSS and Javascript
● Proven experience with React and TypeScript
● Experience in SSR with Next.js would be a big plus
● Experience with state management (Redux), CSS compilers (Sass, Less), build tools (Webpack, Vite) and unit tests
● Experience with Figma and an eye for detail when translating designs into code.
● Well experienced with using git
● Deep understanding of React, component-based architecture, and experience working with Tailwind CSS, Storybook, and in-house design systems or component libraries.
● Strong skills in writing technical documentation and designing API contract agreements in collaboration with backend developers.
● Familiar with agile development processes in SDLC including sprint planning, iterative development, estimations, and design sessions
● Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment pipelines, preferably AWS.
