What success looks like in this role:
Join our dynamic team providing 24/7 support for mission-critical applications. We are seeking a skilled Dev Support Engineer (Business Information, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) to enhance our Command-and-Control services, focusing on management information components. You will be based at Hendon, Greater London or Milton Keynes (3 days per week).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support and implement software enhancements.
Identify and resolve issues for end users.
Analyse and fix interface problems between system components.
Develop creative solutions and enhancements.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Minimum Requirements:
Business Information, JavaScript, HTML, CSS development or support capability.
Oracle development and scripting experience or similar.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar.
Additional Skills:
Web Development experience using the above technologies would be advantageous.
Experience in Application Support and willingness to learn our business information platform.
Experience with Pandas and other Python data manipulation packages.
Strong data manipulation skills.
SQL/Relational Database experience.
Ability to apply technical expertise in a service delivery environment.
Develop solutions without impacting system operations.
A working knowledge of development frameworks such as MVC, MVVM or similar would be beneficial
Good understanding of ITIL.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in Public Sector organizations is a plus.
