The Role

At Gapstars, our goal is to fuel growth for highly ambitious tech companies with world-class tech talent. If you are an experienced and ambitious Senior Angular Developer with strong programming fundamentals and the ability to adopt new frameworks as needed we want to hear from you.
As a Senior Angular Developer, you will be expected to architect, develop, and release user-facing features and ensure the quality of our product continues to serve the needs of our tens of millions of users.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Design and build efficient, intuitive front-end applications in Angular
• Work with a distributed SCRUM team that consists of a Dutch product owner, Dutch Developers & QA’s and Sri Lankan Developers & QA’s.
• Interact with clients’ technical leadership, understand and execute the requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with building applications in Angular (preferably using the latest version).
• 4-5 years of experience with Angular.
• HTML5, CSS3, ES6, TypeScript, RxJs.
• Experience in consuming RESTful API’s / JSON.
• Experience with browser storage techniques, including IndexedDB and Cache API.
• Solid understanding of User-Centered web design principles.
• Development workflow experience (JetBrains IntelliJ or Visual Studio Code) and able to use advanced debugging tools.
• Knowledge of open layers would be a plus.
